Customer Questions
Are this items suitable from the council as dropped kerbs?
Our kerb ramps come in 2 heights and can be placed as a temporary solution or permanently fixed, they are hard wearing and will provide long-term useage, but we would always recommend you check with your local authority for any permissions that may be required.
My council Planning Policy Officer (Reading), don't have any problem with that, but they concern about the highways and perhaps the police would find it unacceptable because of the risk that it provides for others using the road.
We're not in a position to answer this one, sorry. I'd ask the planning officer again for a clear statement of council policy. Sorry we can't offer more assistance - different councils may have different views so it's best to resolve it with them.
