Our Story
SafetyBuyer was founded in 2012 by brothers Ian and Kevin Rowe, who together have over 40 years of experience in the safety supply industry. From warehouses to sales, production to purchasing, they’ve gained a wealth of experience - drawing on these lessons to create a company built on the values that matter most.
After 18 months of hard work and over 3,000 hours building the website, safetybuyer.com launched in July 2013. Our first order - a batch of safety signs - came in almost immediately, and we’ve been growing ever since.
Today, we’ve served more than 105,000 customers, from small businesses to household-name corporations. Despite our growth, we’ve never forgotten our roots - we’re still proud to count our very first customer among those who order from us regularly.
