- To connect hoses together and to other pipework and fittings
- Comprises of a male and female two part connection which are secured by two internal springs
- Both plungers must be fully retracted to allow uncoupling of the two parts
- Hose tails on both parts have a double rib arrangement which facilitate wire binding or hose clamps
- Manufactured to BS336
