Exit Stoppers for double door installations include 2 x wired reed switches (each with 3m of wire) and magnetic blocks. See installation guide below.
In a nutshell... the Exit Stopper is fitted to the door and a magnetic block is fitted to the door frame. When the door is opened the connection between the magnet and stopper unit is broken which triggers the alarm. Exit Stoppers also feature a key operated override facility to silence the alarm and allow for authorised door use.
