A toxic substance is any substance which causes irritation, sensitivity or narcotic side effects due to inhalation, consumption or skin contact. Ensure substances with adverse side effects are correctly signed to avoid any accidental toxicity. GHS is the new Globally Harmonized System of classification and labeling of chemicals. GHS came into effect in 2015 and gradually phased out the existing orange and black CHIP regulation by 2017.
The aim of the GHS regulation is to create a worldwide recognisable system of chemical classification and labeling
